Compiler notes:

All tracks were transferred directly from the original master tapes, with the exception of three unreleased early versions which were sourced directly from cassettes.

We discovered that the single versions of Fire Island were actually faded towards the end of the tracks during the original vinyl cut and mastering. Instead of recreating the fading, we are providing the full recorded mixdown, which is why the tracks have abrupt endings.

The original Fire Island (seven-inch instrumental) and Touch (part 2) are faded short versions of their twelve-inch counterparts Fire Island (twelve-inch extended Instrumental) and Touch (part 4).
We have omitted Fire Island (seven-inch Instrumental) from the release to allow space for additional material.

Fire Island (01.02.84 demo), Fire Island (28.03.84 monitor mix) and Touch (early version) were sourced on cassettes and were transferred and mastered directly from them.

This collection is being released on CD with a jewel case and 12 page booklet featuring original artwork and promo photographs in an edition of 500.

Running time of this CD is over 78 minutes and are glass mastered silver CDs. NOT CDRs.

Each CD shall have a numbered Japanese style OBI strip included.

The digital version of both Fire Island and Touch are owned by Beggars Banquet and not available via Chute Records.
